A Fox News columnist has sharply criticized Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), labeling the conservative figure as a "fool" who is undermining the Republican party's objectives.

Liz Peek, a columnist and contributor to Fox, expressed her frustration with Greene in an article published on the Fox News website on Wednesday. She urged Greene to direct her "bombastic self-serving showmanship and drama queen energy" towards Democrats, rather than attempting to undermine her own party. Peek accused Greene of preferring to "metaphorically burn down the House, rather than work towards the greater good."

Greene has recently spearheaded a motion-to-vacate resolution against House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) following his proposal to consider foreign aid. Johnson has dismissed the motion against him as "ridiculous." Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) is the only House Republican to publicly back Greene's initiative, although neither has indicated when a vote on Johnson's removal might be brought to the floor.

Peek called for an end to the party's internal disputes in her column. She suggested that if Greene and others wish to oppose aid to Ukraine or the FISA bill, they should simply vote against it, stating, "That's how democracy works." Peek's advice to Greene was to "get over yourself," borrowing a phrase from Hillary Clinton, and to focus on the current mission of electing Donald Trump.
